As a Multiplayer Designer I specialize in the designing, testing, and streamlining multiplayer systems and content. My combination of technical skills with over a dozen public and proprietary editors (Unreal 4, CE3, Creation Kit and so on) and 9 + years of professional gaming experience. I know gives me an advantage over other designers when creating multiplayer systems and the content in them. I grew up in the age of competitive arena shooters and to this day play them avidly. I’ve witnessed the flaws and successes of countless multiplayer games as both a designer and player. This has helped me to overcome design problems before they happen as well as to stay highly aware and responsive to what the multiplayer community demands of us and the games we create. The greatest of which for me is Halo. It has been and still is the greatest inspiration for me as a multiplayer designer. Watching Halo grow and change over the years at the same time I have, has given me a special bond with the franchise. A bond that influences all my design and system creation decisions, no matter what type of game I may be helping to create. After all, game development is like a multiplayer game in of itself. What we are competing for? We are competing for the free time of millions of gamers all over the world. So it is my job to make sure that when they have that free time. It is spent playing the multiplayer of the games we create and to make sure every moment is well spent.
